The Zimbabwe Republic Police has warned retailers and consumers against buying or selling unlabelled alcoholic beverages as authorities intensify operations to remove counterfeit alcohol from the market.

Police have arrested two Teku Teku Company directors for allegedly producing illicit alcohol under unhygienic conditions, as separate operations uncovered nearly two tonnes of dagga and hundreds of bottles of BronCleer cough syrup.
