Zimbabwe is installing new radiotherapy machines, training more radio-oncologists and working towards establishing cancer treatment centres in every province to improve access to specialised healthcare.

Health Minister Douglas Mombeshora says the proposed National Health Fund Bill will allow all Zimbabweans to access free treatment at government hospitals, funded through taxes on cigarettes and alcohol.
