A 24-year-old Midlands State University Computer Science student has appeared in court accused of hacking CABS systems and causing an alleged US$1.13 million loss.

The High Court has overturned a Harare man’s cyberbullying conviction, ruling that investigators failed to conclusively prove WhatsApp messages originated from his phone, setting an important precedent for cybercrime prosecutions in Zimbabwe.
