Ruwa man in court over US$1.2m ABC Auctions armed robbery
A suspected armed robber, Bibience Bondamakara of Ruwa, appeared before the Harare Regional Magistrates' Court on Saturday, facing charges of robbing ABC Auctions of more than US$1.2 million in cash and jewellery in a suspected carefully planned heist. Bondamakara was arraigned before Magistrate Learnmore Mapiye on a charge of armed robbery. Prosecutor Kudakwashe Muza told the court the robbery occurred in the early hours of October 8, 2022.

Harare Woman Jailed 10 Years for Selling US$33 Worth of Scrap Copper
A 44-year-old woman from Harare has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Mbare Magistrates’ Court after she was caught attempting to sell scrap copper valued at about US$33. According to a bulletin from the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPA), the woman, Success Kudyarawanza, was arrested following a police operation targeting illegal copper trading.

City of Harare Fines Resident US$12,000 for Unauthorised Speed Hump
The City of Harare has fined a Tynwald resident more than US$12,000 for installing a speed hump without council approval, citing a breach of the Roads Act. In a letter dated 5 December 2025, the City’s Director of Works, Isiah Chawatama, said the speed hump had been constructed illegally across a public road in Dawn View Park.

Warrant issued after businessman misses judgment in ZWL$29m property case
HARARE — A warrant of arrest has been issued for local businessman Tendai Jemwa after he failed to appear in court for judgment in a ZWL$29 million property dispute involving his brother‑in‑law, the court record shows. Regional Magistrate Francis Mapfumo issued the warrant after Jemwa did not attend proceedings in a case in which he is accused of unlawfully sidelining his business partner, Thomas Masango.
