More than 200 people have illegally occupied residential stands at Sadza Growth Point that were earmarked for just 39 beneficiaries, prompting Government to order their removal. Local Government and Public Works Minister Daniel Garwe, who visited Chikomba District on Friday, said the Government would not regularise the illegal occupation as authorities step up efforts to bring land administration under control.

MAKONI – Makoni District has identified several communal and resettlement areas where illegal land allocations, commonly known as "sabhuku deals," are rampant, as Government intensifies efforts to curb unlawful settlements across Zimbabwe.

The implementation of this framework is intended to formalize the integration of these cadres into the national land tenure system, providing them with tangible economic support while ensuring that those who contributed to the country's sovereignty are appropriately recognized.
