HARARE – A High Court has sentenced prominent Bindura lawyer Elatone Bonongwe to an effective 15 years in prison after convicting him of masterminding a violent robbery that left a rural district council engineer seriously injured. HARARE – A one-year-old girl has died after drowning in a bucket of water in Nketa, Bulawayo, in a tragic incident that police say highlights the dangers of leaving young children unsupervised. HARARE – The body of a 64-year-old nurse from Mwenezi, Frank Siziba, has been recovered nearly three weeks after the flooded Muchingwizi River swept him away. Police confirmed that Siziba’s remains were discovered on Wednesday, March 25, about five kilometres downstream from a river crossing point where he is believed to have been carried away.
