A devastating incident at the Nyangane River has claimed the lives of a 23-year-old mother, her two-year-old daughter, and a family friend after their vehicle was swept away by a powerful current last Tuesday. The family, traveling from Beatrice in Seke to their rural home, attempted to cross the flooded bridge along the Mashava–Downlands Road around 4:00 PM.
