Walking around Harare town, it’s a Tsvubvu affair. There is an inviting scent from the dark black delicacy. Tsvubvu, or Smelly-Berry Fingerleaf or Umviyo, is a popular indigenous wild fruit in Zimbabwe. It is a sweet, black, ovoid fruit with a mealy pulp and a large seed, ripening from February to June on small trees. Tsvubvu is packed with nutritious vitamins. It is indeed a national pride.
