HARARE – Castle Lager Premier Soccer League giants Dynamos FC have strengthened their attacking department after completing the signing of Burkina Faso striker Daouda Sidibe from Ghanaian top-flight side Aduana FC. The transfer was confirmed by Aduana through the club's official social media channels, ending speculation over the forward's future and handing Dynamos a timely boost ahead of the final stretch of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

Sidibe arrives in Harare with experience from the Ghana Premier League, having previously played for Medeama SC, one of Ghana's most successful clubs in recent years. His arrival reunites him with Dynamos Technical Director Aristica Cioaba, who coached the Burkinabè striker during his spell at Aduana.

The reunion is expected to ease Sidibe's transition into the Glamour Boys' setup, with Cioaba already familiar with the striker's playing style, strengths and work ethic. Dynamos have shown signs of revival in recent weeks, climbing to third place on the league standings. However, the Harare giants remain nine points behind leaders Scottland FC, with 12 matches left to play.

Club officials will be hoping Sidibe provides the cutting edge needed to convert improved performances into consistent victories as DeMbare intensify their pursuit of a first league championship in more than a decade. The Burkinabè forward is expected to increase competition in attack while adding pace, physicality and experience to a squad seeking to maintain momentum during the business end of the campaign.

Sidibe's signing also reflects Dynamos' determination to reinforce key areas as the title race enters its decisive phase. With crucial fixtures still to come, the former Ghana Premier League striker could play a pivotal role in the club's ambitions of reducing the gap on Scottland and securing continental football for next season. Supporters will now be eager to see when the striker makes his debut, subject to the completion of registration and clearance formalities. Dynamos have been among the league's form teams in recent weeks, and the addition of an experienced striker is expected to provide coach and technical staff with more attacking options as they chase silverware.
