This is not a data bundle from NetOne but a 10-year sentence handed to Fungai Craig Mangwiro. We all know Fusion 5 Mangwiro, but Fungai Craig Mangwiro has given us Fusion 10 Mangwiro. The 35-year-old from Highfield has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars by the Mbare Magistrates' Court for stealing 500 metres of TelOne drop wires worth US$500.

It happened around 6 pm on 24 September along Boyd Road in Southerton. A community security guard was tracking him after spotting a suspicious white sack. Upon noticing he was being followed, Mangwiro dodged off the trail and pulled a Zacchaeus he climbed a nearby tree and left his sack underneath.

They didn't even realise he had taken to the tree. It was the abandoned sack sitting alone under it that gave him away. When they opened it and found the cables, they looked up, and there was the owner in the branches. The guard then mobilized mourners who were gathered at a nearby funeral to help bring him down. He was handed over to Southerton Police.

What he thought was a quick US$500 deal will now live rent-free in his head. This is not a data bundle from NetOne but a 10-year sentence handed to Fungai Craig Mangwiro.
