Zinara Launches Mega Discounts for Motorists During Harare Agriculture Show 2025

The Zimbabwe National Road Administration (Zinara) has rolled out major promotions to encourage licensing compliance during the 2025 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show in Harare. Running from August 25 to 30, the annual event attracts more than 250,000 visitors and offers government agencies and private firms an important public engagement platform.
Zinara’s campaign includes a 25% discount on light motor vehicle licensing discs when bundled with insurance from CBZ, Zimnat, or Old Mutual. Motorists also stand a chance to receive 100 free licensing discs, as well as free toll gate passes through daily promotions at the show stand.
The Tyre Club Fitment Centre has partnered with Zinara to provide vouchers for free wheel alignment, balancing, and suspension checks for at least 120 motorists who license on-site.
Officials said the initiative is designed to make compliance more attractive while supporting revenue collection for road maintenance. The scheme builds on Zinara’s past efforts at the show, with the goal of pushing the national compliance rate closer to its year-end target.
By blending insurance partnerships, incentives, and direct engagement, Zinara aims to reduce arrears, simplify licensing for motorists, and reinforce its mandate in road infrastructure development.
