Zimbabwe’s men’s 4x400m relay team has delivered a historic performance at the World Relays Gaborone 2026, smashing the national record and securing both a place in the final and automatic qualification for the World Athletics Championships. Competing in Heat 2 from Lane 8, the quartet of Dennis Hove, Leeford Zuze, Gerren Muwishi, and Thandazani Ndlovu clocked an outstanding 2:59.01, the first time a Zimbabwean team has broken the three-minute barrier in the event.
