Authorities are appealing for help to identify an unclaimed woman’s body recovered after the Lake Kariba ferry disaster, which killed at least 95 people.

Six people were killed and six injured after a commuter omnibus veered off the Harare-Bulawayo Road and plunged into a water-filled gully near Tynwald Flyover.

MASVINGO — A thick blanket of morning mist turned deadly today as a head-on collision at a notorious blackspot near the Mutimurefu Prison entrance claimed one life and left another passenger fighting for their life. The accident occurred at approximately 7:00 am, roughly 25km from Masvingo along the Masvingo–Mutare Highway, a stretch of road frequently cited for its poor visibility during the autumn and winter months.
