HARARE, Zimbabwe – Former Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) officer Pearson Mbalekwa, a nephew of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, has reportedly been expelled from ZANU-PF following internal disagreements linked to controversial proposals to amend Zimbabwe's Constitution.

HARARE — In a political development that could reshape Zimbabwe’s governance landscape, the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) has announced it is prepared to offer conditional parliamentary support for the highly controversial Constitution Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3). However, the opposition faction firmly warned the ruling ZANU-PF administration that its backing "cannot be a blank cheque."
