Two arrested after Mukuru outlet armed robbery in Mabelreign
Police in Harare have arrested two suspects following a bold daylight armed robbery at a Mukuru outlet in Mabelreign on Saturday afternoon, Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed.
The ZRP said the suspects, Tanaka Java (42) and Ronald Rupare (28), were detained after fleeing the scene with US$5,631 and ZAR 26,600 in cash. Officers recovered ZAR 10,000 during the arrest operation.
