Harare Woman Jailed 10 Years for Selling US$33 Worth of Scrap Copper
A 44-year-old woman from Harare has been sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Mbare Magistrates’ Court after she was caught attempting to sell scrap copper valued at about US$33. According to a bulletin from the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPA), the woman, Success Kudyarawanza, was arrested following a police operation targeting illegal copper trading.
