BULAWAYO — Seven supporters of Highlanders FC have died following a tragic road accident along the Bulawayo–Gwanda Road on Friday evening, in an incident that has sent shockwaves through Zimbabwe’s football community. The fans were travelling from Bulawayo after attending a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match in which Highlanders played to a goalless draw against FC Platinum at Barbourfields Stadium.
