Government has adopted a new financing model to accelerate the rehabilitation of the Harare-Chirundu Highway, a key regional trade corridor linking Zimbabwe to Zambia, Malawi and the DRC.

The Chitungwiza Municipality has announced that rehabilitation works on a key section of Seke Road will begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, with completion expected within eight weeks.
