ZANU-PF won all four council by-elections held in Mutare and Victoria Falls, with official results showing that divided independent candidates helped hand the ruling party victory in three of the four wards.

Harare South Ward 12 hosted a community soccer and netball tournament aimed at keeping young people off the streets and raising awareness about drug and substance abuse through sport.
