Pageant coach and mentor Simbarashe Gwawawa said the event will celebrate the nation’s traditions and diversity, stressing that the competition emphasises heritage, purpose, and community impact as much as poise and presentation.

Gwawawa said the pageant is designed to go beyond conventional beauty standards to highlight contestants’ commitment to cultural preservation and social projects. “The event will showcase the country’s rich traditions and diversity,” he said, noting that contestants will be judged on how well they represent Zimbabwean identity and values.

Bootcamp schedule and preparations

Preparations begin with a bootcamp on 26 March, starting at 2 pm with the official sashing ceremony and an opening cocktail. The bootcamp will give contestants time to refine their confidence, cultural knowledge, and stagecraft ahead of the main event, Gwawawa said.

Contestants will be assessed across several categories, including national or traditional wear, cultural talent, introductions, community service projects, evening dress, and a question‑and‑answer segment.
