High Court Rejects Jabulani Nkomo Trust Bid to Recover Vehicles Attached Over Astra Debt
In a ruling delivered in Bulawayo, Justice Naison Chivayo struck the matter off the roll after finding that the dispute had already been determined in an earlier court case. The vehicles were attached by the Sheriff of the High Court while enforcing a civil judgment obtained by Ken Estate Agents against Astra Building Centre. The company had been ordered to pay US$62,975 under case number HC SUMM 80/23-1.

HARARE – Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe (AFM) has secured a decisive legal victory in a long-running property dispute after the High Court of Zimbabwe granted summary judgment in its favour. In a ruling delivered by Justice Joel Mambara, the court dismissed claims by a rival faction calling itself the Apostolic Faith Mission of Zimbabwe and six others, describing their repeated litigation as “vexatious” and without merit.

Harare Logistics Dealer Charged Over US$18,450 Trust Property Theft
A Harare-based logistics dealer has appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Court facing three counts of theft of trust property involving US$18,450, allegedly misappropriated from a client who had entrusted him with funds to pay South African suppliers.
Philimon Tawanda Maruta (60) appeared before Harare magistrate Artwell Sanyatwe, accused of converting money meant for business transactions to his personal use.
The complainant in the matter is Sandra Jeche (52).
